In consideration for becoming a Manhattan Wildlife Association (hereinafter “MWA”) member who will participate in the activities and use of the property and facilities of the MWA, I, my associates, guests, and/or family members understand and agree to this waiver & release. Additionally, I acknowledge the possible risks, hazards, and dangers that may be involved in using firearms and being near others that are using firearms, and I hereby assume any and all risks of injury or death. Also, I understand that activities at MWA may require good physical conditioning and a degree of skill and/or knowledge in order for me to engage in them safely. I understand that I, my associates, guests, and/or family members are to conduct ourselves at all times when on the MWA facility with safety first in mind. Further, I agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the MWA and any of its directors, officers or agents from any and all fault, liability, costs, expenses, claims, demands, or lawsuits arising out of, related to, or connected with the use of firearms, the range, buildings, and/or MWA premises. And should any such claim, demand, or lawsuit be asserted in any way whatsoever related thereto, whether arising under the laws of the United States or of any State, or under any theory of law or equity, I will indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the MWA from any and all costs, expenses, and liability including, but not limited to, the cost of any settlement or judgment made or rendered against the MWA, whether individually, jointly, or in soIido, together with all costs of court and other costs or expenses incurred in connection with any such claim, demand, or lawsuit, including attorney’s fees. I, my executors, administrators, assignees, or heirs furthermore waive any and all rights and claims for damages, losses, demands, and any other actions whatsoever which may exist, or which may arise against the MWA, including but not limited to, any and all injuries, damages, or illnesses which may be suffered by me or my property. I also acknowledge that the MWA and any of its directors are NOT responsible for any of my personal property. I agree that I, my associates, my guests, and/or family members have read and will abide by the MWA range rules and the MWA bylaws which are posted on the MWA website listed above.

ALL MEMBERSHIPS ARE SUBJECT TO REVIEW/APPROVAL BY THE MWA BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MAY BE REJECTED FOR ANY REASON DEEMED DETRIMENTAL TO THE GOOD OF THE CLUB.
